Premium And Non-Refundable Orders

Wed, 08/03/2011 - 15:24

We’ve added two new order types – Premium orders and Non-Refundable orders. We had a number of clients that have told us that they are willing to pay a lot more than $50 as long as they get a really good name. Now they have this option. Premium orders start at $100, but that amount can be increased by each individual client. Premium orders are marked separately and always stay on top until they are completed. Only highest ranked contributors (1 though 3) are allowed to work on premium orders, so in exchange for paying higher fees clients who chose this option will get best suggestions from our best contributors. To make it worth the effort, copywriters who work on premium orders will get at least double their regular pay ($50 or more per domain, depending on reward amount chosen by the client). We’ve also added an option to make orders non-refundable. Even though instances of domain theft are very low, a lot of contributors are worried that a client may first request a refund and then steal their suggestions. Obviously, this isn’t going to be an issue with non-refundable issues where payout is guaranteed. Clients who chose this option (this option is great for our repeat customers who already had a chance to test our system) will receive more suggestions without paying extra.

Non-refundable Orders

Just a suggestion that i was thinking that would'nt it be great idea if you have a non-refundable orders on "Name Orders" & "Slogan Orders"? That way you no for sure that they want take a name/slogan you suggested. Because its hard to know if someone took a name/slogan, Then if someone took a domain. Just a suggestion.

Non-refundable orders

I 100% agree with you Tina. Name orders should be non-refundable. Unlike domain orders, there is absolutely no way to police what a client does with suggestions, when they refund. Same with slogans.

Non-refundable Orders

I understand that it is a option, and thats great you have that option for clients. I was Just seeing if it could be requirement? Its kindy hard to know if they took a Name Order or Slogan Order. You can check to see if a domain was taken, But not names orders.

Non-refundable Orders

Ok David it was just something i thought would be a good idea. It still could be risk-free for domains. But on Names and Slogans a requirement. To me seems like abunch of name orders always refund. And then there no way to no if that name was taken and used. Anyway thanks to yalls response.
